London, Sep 2 (ANI): West Ham midfielder Kieron Dyer has been disqualified from driving for six months and fined more than 1,000 pounds after being caught speeding.

The former England midfielder was caught speeding in his Mercedes at 95mph near Ipswich, Suffolk.

Dyer, who is paid 70,000 pounds a week by West Ham, also failed to produce his driving licence and failed to give information about the identity of the driver of his Mercedes.

Dyer, 31, was found guilty of all three offences in his absence by Lowestoft magistrates in Suffolk and was fined more than 1,000 pounds, The Sun reports.

Dyer has been capped 30 times by England and was in the national squad for both the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004. (ANI)
